1) MAJESTA's Tree Planting Promise is: We plant three trees for every one we use to produce MAJESTA products. This means that three seedlings will be planted in the spring and summer of 2011 for every one used to produce MAJESTA products in 2010. The number of trees that will be planted next spring and summer will be based on the estimated number of trees used to generate the fibre to make MAJESTA products sold this year. Based on consumer's purchases of MAJESTA, we anticipate planting around 800,000 trees in 2011. For more information, click here.

2) We are distributing over 400,000 seed cards and are counting on you, the MAJESTA consumer, to plant them. To help reach our goal we need half of the seed cards distributed to be planted in the ground! To receive a seed card, look for specially marked packages of MAJESTA.

3) Since 2009, we have sponsored Tree Canada community tree planting events across Canada. Last year, 37,500 trees were planted, and we expect the same number to be planted at similar events this year. To learn more about our community tree planting events, click here.
